I chose these 9 categories of exceptionality because they encompass the range of students with whom I have had the privilege of working in my role as a tutor.
Autism (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
Emotional Disturbance
Hearing Impairment & Deafness
Intellectual Disability
Orthopedic Impairment
Other Health Impairment (with a focus on ADHD)
Specific Learning Disability (with a focus on Dyslexia)
Speech or Language Impairment
Visual Impairment and Blindness
